Nature Retreat

About Avalonia Peace Sanctuary

A NATURAL HEALING SANCTUARY dedicated to a Peaceful Global Community and Preservation of Natural Environment and Animal Life, Avalonia is located in the Shenandoah Valley on a wooded mountain side amidst magnificent rock formations.

The rock formations are part of the Appalachian Mountains, which is one of the oldest mountain ridges on our Earth. These ancient rocks were formed roughly 480 million years ago during the Ordovician Period.

The area in its entirety is also a vortex and within it is a  rock formation termed a Grail Grid, which is also known as a Lotus Cell and serves as a magnet for divine intelligence to anchor. It aims to inspire a greater awareness within each person and thereby serves the “Real Earth” or what is also termed “New Earth.”    Spirit guided us to this mountain side and in turn the spirit of this mountain and vortex guides activities and all plans concerning its natural environment. As such it inspired to be a Nature Retreat for those who seek rest and recuperation as being least intrusive to its natural atmosphere and wildlife.

A six sided Peace Pole at the entrance to the sanctuary welcomes all visitors, stating in six languages:  "May Peace Prevail on Earth". The entrance in its entirety is dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi and a commemorative plaque lists his bio.

Therefore, our Nature Retreat with its Meditation Areas is a natural refuge within a powerful healing environment for Body, Mind, Spirit, and Soul. As a Peace Sanctuary it honors those of the past and present who held/hold within their heart:

  • Peace
  • Harmony
  • Respect & Appreciation for all life.

A shared vision of Camilla Blossom and Marshall Jack.
...”The spirit of water needs to be honored and recognized by all. Mother Earth will honor those who honor her with many gifts of love. Take time each day to bless the essence of life – the water… “

The entire Sanctuary provides a Safe Haven for the healing art in “Self Realization” and “Personal Peace”. It is an environment inspiring an “ever expanding reverence for All Life”. With careful landscaping, while maintaining the natural habitat, the woods can be used as an open-air classroom with pathways leading to certain key points, dedicated for a variety of activities such as relaxation, meditations and seasonal celebrations.

Each area is to commemorate notable individuals who have done most as Caretakers for the Earth, Environment and Peace.  One area known as the "Puma Rock" is dedicated to the Earth & her Wisdom Keepers of All Races & Nations with a plaque listing the appropriate message.
